The police in New Delhi were able to solve a murder case within 12 hours using slim clues. The CCTV footage showed the accused, Gurpreet Singh, dumping the body of a Swiss woman. The police traced the ownership of the car used in the crime through a car dealer, who revealed that Singh had bought the car using a wrong phone number and an Aadhaar card belonging to a sex worker. Through technical surveillance, the police were able to track Singh's correct phone number and arrest him.
