The Isro has released pictures of the far side of the moon, taken by the Lander Hazard Detection and Avoidance Camera, as it prepares for the landing of its Vikram lander on 23 August. The images were taken the day before Vikram entered a 25km x 134km pre-landing orbit. Vikram's signal was lost four years ago during the country's last lunar mission. Isro plans to extend the mission life of Vikram and its rover, Pragyan, if possible.
